Microwave tips
  • Microwave your food twice as long on half the power. Cooking on a lower setting in the microwave keeps more moisture and is more gentle on the food. Also makes sure the food is evenly heated and you avoid those cold pockets.
  • Buy a microwave with inverter technology, these let you more accurately control the power of the microwave.
  • When reheating foods that you want to keep more moisture in, for example our Mushroom Quinoa, try adding a cup of water along with the food. This gently steams the foods and helps keep the meal from getting overly dry.
