Mason jar salad - The perfect bring along lunch

The trick to getting a perfect mason jar salad is all about the order in which you place the ingredients. Fill the bottom of the jar with your favorite salad dressing, cover it with our bean pasta then place your veggies. 

  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • Salt and fresh ground pepper
  • 1/4 red onion, finely chopped
  • A few organic cherry tomatoes
  • 1 slice of lemon
  • A few radishes
  • 1/4 Green bell pepper
  • 25g Gafell Fettuccine made from Green Soybeans (about half a serving size)
  • 40g baby spinach leaves
  1. Make the dressing in the bottom of the jar by pouring in olive oil and squeezing fresh lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Stuff the fettuccine in the bottom, this is your source of protein and fibers
  3. Follow with baby spinach leaves
  4. Next add the tomatoes, onion, radish and bell pepper
  5. Top with some more pasta to keep everything in place
  6. Garnish top with lemon slice and fresh basil
  7. Close lid
